The Network was created in November and brings together five local practices in the locality:

The new service provided by this locality (ESPN) will offer blood tests for patients at all the local GP surgeries above, with a rota of surgeries providing appointments in the early morning, evenings and Saturday mornings. The staff taking your blood will generally be the same staff you are used to meeting. 

To book an appointment, please contact your usual surgery, in the first instance. The full range of phlebotomy clinics across the network are summarised in the table below.

In addition to the usual range of appointments, there will also be availability for the following: 

Early mornings (7.30-8am) at Blackthorn Health Centre and Bursledon Surgery (shown in blue) 

Evenings on Thursdays 5-7pm at Hedge End Medical Centre (shown in red

Saturday mornings 8am-12pm at Blackthorn Health Centre and Hedge End Medical Centre (alternating) (shown in orange).

To book any of these, please contact the practice offering the session. If you are being seen at a practice other than your own, you must take with you the blood form your usual GP has provided. The results will go back to your own GP as usual.
