When We Are Closed
On weekdays, between 18:30 and 08:00 and all day and night at weekends and bank holidays, services are provided by the out-of-hours team. If you require medical treatment, you have a choice.
- If you wish to see an emergency doctor, please telephone 111, to be connected to the out-of-hours service. Calls to the NHS 111 service are free from both landlines and mobiles.
- If an extreme emergency arises, dial 999 to request an ambulance
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
