Health Visitors

The community health visitors can give advice on many of your own and family’s health. They are trained nurses who have extra qualifications in the promotion of good health. They have particular skills in the fields of child health assessment of child development: feeding, sleeping and behavioural problems. The health visitors help with the elderly, nursing mothers, people with disabilities and the bereaved. They also run health promotional groups such as child health clinics and first time parent groups.
